Question from Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA:
My 16 daughter has had type 1 diabetes since the age of 11, and I’ve talked with two people who have siblings with type 1 diabetes who strongly believe that people with diabetes can be more forgetful and moody, partly because of their highs and low blood sugars. Do you find this true?
Answer:
From: DTeam Staff
I don’t think folks with diabetes are much more forgetful than the rest of us. However, moods can fluctuate with blood sugar variances.
