Question from New Hampshire, USA:
My four-year-old daughter urinates frequently, on average four times in as many hours — usually more in the morning than the afternoon or evening hours. She does not consume a great deal of liquid, doesn’t seem excessively thirsty or have any other of the commonly known symptoms of diabetes. Should I be concerned?

This may just be a behavior, or could represent diabetes, a urinary tract infection or other problem. I would suggest reviewing your concerns with your pediatrician.
