My nephew is 19 and has had diabetes since he was 12. The problem is that he doesn’t take very good care of himself. He is very skinny and takes laxatives about every day. After he eats he either vomits or he is constantly in the bathroom. He sleeps a lot also. Please help, what can we do?

I would strongly suspect an eating disorder or some other psychological problem. Find a competent counselor or therapist and get your nephew the assistance he needs! Don’t wait. Do it now.
