Question from Puerto Rico, USA:

There are many glucose monitors in the market. Which monitor do you recommend?

Answer:

From: DTeam Staff

There are many good meters on the market, all of which work well when properly used. They offer a variety of different features, and it’s really up to the person who has to use to decide which one will meetr his/her particular needs. For meter reviews on this site see Blood Glucose Meters.

It is important to keep in mind that quite often, health insurances providers will only have limited brands on their formularies. Should you wish to purchase something else, this means you would have to pay out-of-pocket for the meter (and probably the strips) which is very expensive.
