Blood Tests and Insulin Injections, Other

Question from Toronto, Canada:

I understand that there is a new lancet on the market that is less intrusive on children’s fingers but still produces the blood droplet necessary to get an accurate blood sugar reading. It’s apparently quite expensive (around $200), but if it’s less painful and does less damage to my daughter’s fingers over the long term, I would like to explore it. Do you know the details of this product (name, manufacturer) and what the benefits are?
