When will Lantus (insulin glargine) be available? Earlier reports had said September, 2000, but after repeated attempts, our pediatric endocrinologist says no one from Aventis is answering his queries.

Nobody seems to know for sure. We were told “the autumn” [of the year 2000] so perhaps there is still time for this date before “winter” comes officially.
