advertisement
Question from Barcelona, Spain:

I would like to know if it is possible to find an insulin pump with the blood glucose meter included in it. Why aren’t meters incorporated into pumps?

Answer:

From: DTeam Staff

As of May 2005, two insulin pumps have an associated blood glucose meter:

The Medtronic MiniMed Paradigm pump uses the Paradigm Link, a modified BD Logic meter.
The Deltec Cozmo Insulin Pump uses the CoZmonitor, a modified Abbott Diabetes Care FreeStyle meter.
