Abigail
From her friend, Paul:
At five years old we were told Abigail had type 1 diabetes. From day one she said, “I can do that.” She learned quickly how to do her own diabetes care. Poke her finger, give herself insulin and then moving on to pump and Dexcom changes. She has also gone on to say, “Nope, diabetes isn’t going to hold me back. I just need to make adjustments.” Abigail is a high performance athlete in Snowboarding and taekwondo. Competing at a national level in both sports. Working hard everyday to her goal. She is 10 years stronger because of this and will continue to be strong and successful into her future.
