Hi! I was diagnosed in severe DKA on Christmas Eve of 2014. I’d known a bit about T1D thanks to a college friend, but I never thought I’d develop it myself. I just completed my first BreakthroughT1D bike ride in Death Valley after fundraising for the organization and am so glad to be connected! I’ll keep training and fundraising for as long as I can.
