I was diagnosed when I was eight years old. I remember getting really really sick suddenly, throwing up for a week straight, wetting the bed, getting upset easily, and just everything else under the sun! While it hasn’t been easy, especially as a kid, seeing everyone else not having to go to the nurse before lunch everyday or having tubing sticking off of them or getting poked everyday, diabetes has made me stronger and made me who I am today! I couldn’t imagine my life without it now!
