Christian Claydon

From his daughter, Aeriel:

My father received a diagnosis of diabetes more than 50 years ago, and navigating this journey has been quite a challenge, especially given the absence of modern technology during his formative years. His management involved the use of glass needles, urine blood test kits, and regular injections for the majority of his life. It wasn’t until the past decade that he transitioned to an insulin pump, and only in the last few years did he begin using a continuous glucose monitor (CGM). While his management has notably improved, he still contends with various complications. Nonetheless, he remains resilient and continues to persevere through these ongoing challenges. He has been my support system through my own Type 1 Diabetes journey, and we are in this together!
