I don’t know where to start. It’s been a heck of a road. I remain steadfast and confident all of my diligent efforts will continue to pay off. Things are getting harder for sure. I was diagnosed with a rare neurologic disease called synucleinopathy that is tied to autonomic failure so needless to say I have my hands full. Thank God for insulin pump therapy, continuous glucose monitoring, AI technologies, and medicine aimed to preserve kidney. I thank my parents, family, and close friends for their continued support. Certainly, being a nurse and nurse practitioner has allowed me to take the best care of myself. I am board certified, work in internal medicine, and strive to help patients battling this disease.
