So much has changed over the last 25 years. I have a beautiful boy and no longer have to poke my fingers. I remember as a kid when I was diagnosed imaging the day I wouldn’t have to poke my finger anymore. I’m so happy for the advancements in treatment. I hope I’m lucky enough to never earn the 50 year medal because that would mean there is a cure.
