I was diagnosed at the age of nine years old and grateful for my parents for noticing my symptoms weren’t normal. After this decade I’ve realized it’s important to stay positive and keep pushing forward. Even though this disease everyday is nothing less than a struggle, continuing to manage it to the best of your ability is what matters. At the end of the day your disease doesn’t define you, you are more than just finger pokes and shots. Don’t let this disease stop you from living the life you deserve. Remember you are never alone!
