Madeline Liegois

I was diagnosed at age eight with T1D after a series of feeling sick as a kid. It has been a series of trials and tribulations living with T1D, PCOS, and as of this month, early signs of kidney issues.

All that being said, I made it through my regular schooling and got a bachelors in chemical engineering. I’m working a consultant job, have plenty of friends and family I keep in touch with, and have a wonderful girlfriend in my life. It hasn’t been easy, but knowing that there are things in life worth living for make the days brighter. I have a pump and CGM system that has helped greatly, but most importantly I have put in the work to help myself.
