I was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at the age of 18 almost 19 on February 2nd, 2016. It was a bit of a curve ball for me but I’ve learned how to take care of myself and my A1C is at a 7. I’ve learned that diabetes is a rollercoaster but it’s also manageable. I just can’t believe it’s been 10 years already.
