Diabetes has changed my life in good ways and in challenging ways. It has made me such a stronger person and it has shown me I am capable of so much. I never thought I would be in my junior year of college to become an adapted physical therapist. Living with type 1 diabetes is a stressful job, not only for you but also for your family. So I want to thank my mother, brother, step father, grandparents, and my boyfriend and his family. They have adapted to life with me having type 1 diabetes and I have never heard a moan or complaint from a single person. They listen to my rants, and they are there for me at my lowest, but they are also with me with achievements like this. 10 years with type one. I truly thought I would never say that, but I sure glad I am.
