Our beautiful mom has reached a huge milestone! She has been living with type 1 diabetes for 50 years, and done so with grace and resilience. Living with diabetes must have looked much different than it does for her today, and we have advances in medical technology to thank for that. But more than anything, we have her strength and positivity to thank for guiding her through this journey. She has managed all of the highs and lows that come with being diabetic, while also being a source of love and support for our family. We hope this milestone reminds her of how far she has come and how much she is loved. Here’s to many more years of health and happiness. We are so proud of her and her perseverance and incredibly lucky to call her our mom!
