Stacey Bergacker
I was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at 18 years old. Thrown into the adult world with a life changing disease, I had to learn a whole new life. I have not been the best diabetic these past 26 years, but every day is an accomplishment and a new day to be better. My daughter was just diagnosed at age 10 this past year. I am so glad that her having watched me every day of her life, has made her transition so much easier, and now together we will live this life to the fullest.
