I was diagnosed on my 10th birthday at Rainbow Babies and Children’s hospital in Cleveland. I have lived through urine tests only and no glucose monitors to now having an insulin pump and CGM. I have three children (one of whom also has T1D) and I proudly run marathons at the age of 55!
