Vivian

From her mom, Amy:

Vivi doesn’t really remember life before T1D. There have been challenges, especially in the beginning and adjusting to life with T1. She doesn’t let it hold her back. She was a Cub Scout, has been in dance for seven years, and is a typical teenager. She is learning how to live life to the fullest and enjoy the journey while still managing T1D. The new Omnipod and Dexcom technology has made managing her diabetes a bit easier, and we all enjoy more sleep at night. Vivi is learning how to figure out carb counts on food that doesn’t contain nutritional info, which is a huge step in independence! She wants to let everyone know that T1D doesn’t define who you are and what you can do. Keep pursuing your dreams!
