Question from Missouri, USA:

My 13 year old daughter was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes almost one year ago. In the past few weeks, she has had difficulty falling asleep and staying asleep. Does this have anything to do with her diabetes or is it something else?

Answer:

From: DTeam Staff

I don’t suspect that this has much to do with her diabetes, especially if her sugars are in a reasonable range during the times of her sleeping problems.
