Megan Sugg

From her mom, Linda:

My daughter Megan has been living with type 1 diabetes since 1999, when she was diagnosed at eight years old. I want to honor her journey. She successfully navigated through high school and college as a competitive cheerleader. She earned a masters degree in teaching and has a 1st degree black belt in taekwondo. When she’s not shaping young minds as a school teacher and after-school cheer coach, she can be found at home or at church with her husband, Sean, young sons, Jensen, William, and Ezekiel, and foster daughter Myla, who is in the process of being adopted into the family. Megan is an animal lover, having gone through a menagerie of pets as a child, and currently shares her home with three dogs. I am so proud of the woman she has become. 25 years ago I didn’t dare to dream that she would achieve the happy, healthy, successful life that she has. But here she is. Proof that you can dare to dream.
