She has experienced hypoglycemic episodes mainly in the middle of the night. She wakes up shaking, jerking, mouth almost shut tight. I am very concerned about this. There are significant people in his life that feed him sugar (candy bars, powdered donuts, etc.) on a daily basis. I am concerned about the long term effects of their actions on his health. I took my daughter to the doctor and they noticed a skin discoloration in the skin on her knees, behind her neck and under her arms. The doctor mentioned that she was making too much insulin.
