Since finding out I was pregnant, about five months ago, I have been diagnosed with retinopathy. I had no problems before. Are there any studies into type 1 diabetes, pregnancy and rapidly advancing retinopathy? My doctors don’t feel the need to see me to treat this for another two months. Is that too long to wait? I don’t want to lose my sight.
