I am 24 years old, have had type 1 diabetes for 10 years, and I am currently on a sliding scale system of three Actrapid injections before meals and Insulatard at bedtime. If my blood is high an hour or so after breakfast, can I take my lunch time insulin an hour earlier and wait an hour to eat lunch or should I stick to the regular pattern?
