My six year old son has not been diagnosed with diabetes, but his father and grandfather both have type 1 diabetes, and I believe my son may have it too. Should I avoid giving my three and one-half year old daughter chocolate milk, puddings, etc., as I was told by some people that this will bring out the gene producing diabetes?
