He doesn’t follow through with diabetes doctors, won’t go to one, and won’t let me call one so I don’t know where to turn. In my opinion, my grandmother eats way too many sweets. The food I cook for her is not high in sugar, and she gets plenty of it, so I’m totally at a loss as to why she cannot gain weight. Could all these sweets possibly be the reason for her lack of weight gain?

He’s starting a 2000 calorie diet, but I also want to watch sugars and carbs. Any info would be helpful.
