My daughter has had type 1 diabetes for seven months, and we recently found out that she also has seasonal allergies. Is there an allergy medication that does not contain sugar? Her readings are very high during morning and lunch and her suppertime reading was low which is out of the ordinary for her. Can you help?

I am a 30 year old with type 1 diabetes and am on an ACE inhibitor, another blood pressure pill, and a water pill, along with various other medications. I have been told I have anemia and have had numerous tests done to rule out the cause, but, since they were all normal, the doctors came to the conclusion that I was getting too high of a dosage of an ACE inhibitor. Have you ever heard of this? There was a discrepancy between some of the doctors as to the validity to this. Do you think that this is too much medication?

I have type 2 diabetes, and was started on insulin twice a day. I have been taking an ACE inhibitor for hypertension, and previously when my blood pressure was elevated, it would eventually settle, but now I have not slept all night due to an elevated pressure and have not been able to lower it.
