Since my daughter’s blood sugars are out of control, the endocrinologist has suggested adding Lantus to her regimen of NPH and NovoLog. What would this do? I’ve never heard of such a regimen.

Usually, my son can tell when he’s hypoglycemic but, lately, he’s had a funny feeling in his legs often. For him, that’s a symptom of a low. Could it be related to the switch from NovoRapid to Humalog? Is it related to growth?
