Cato Burgess
I was late diagnosed with type 1 as an adult. It began with two years of doctor visits for fatigue and weight fluctuations and appetite declines but no diagnosis. Then I was treated for type 2 for a couple years but no treatments made a difference. Then I was told I had type 1.5 and eventually type 1. Unfortunately my daughter and I both have type 1, but we work together with the support of our family to fight one day at a time.
