I really can’t believe it’s been this long, I try to avoid reading the terrifying stories about type 1 diabetics and their disabilities. I personally know people that have not treated their disease correctly and have died. I would say to everyone who is just getting started on their journey to “take one day at a time.” You will have bad days trying to keep your blood sugars in range. Some days will be easy. I am a living legend to my nephew who is also type 1.
