I was diagnosed in times of urine testing, food exchanges, and metal needle sterilized after my one daily injection. I carried sugar cubes to treat lows. Also, I had no diabetes education or referral to vision or kidney specialists. I graduated college and enjoyed a great teaching career. Lucky to be alive and thriving at 64! Thank you Lilly!
