Reagan
From Reagan’s mom:
Our daughter, Reagan, was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes three weeks after her 4th birthday. To say we were overwhelmed in the beginning would be an understatement! As time went on, things for better. In the 10 years since diagnosis, we have seen so many upgrades in the technology that makes our lives with diabetes a little easier. Reagan has gone from finger pricks and multiple daily shots to an Omnipod 5 pump and a dexcom cgm. Reagan is almost 14 years old and doesn’t let diabetes slow her down. She just started high school this fall. Between school and studio, she does dance 15 hours a week and also plays piano. Reagan is a JDRF youth ambassador with our local chapter and our One Walk team has raised over $100,000 for research and education, which we hope will lead to a cure in her lifetime. She’s a wonderful daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece and aunt and we are so proud of her.
