Having diabetes for the majority of life was not always easy. I do however feel lucky that I never knew a “normal” life. For most of my life I did not have good control and just was happy staying alive. Over the last seven months I’ve brought my A1C from 10 or more for more than 10 years to a 5.5 A1C. I also have a new love for the community around type 1 and diabetes in general!
