Receiving a CWD Journey Award is important to me because when I was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes 10 years ago, I couldn’t imagine how my life would be, I was terrified. This award is a great way to see how far I’ve come. From the bad days to the good, I’m still alive, thriving, and not letting diabetes stop me from living everyday to the fullest!
