My 7 year old daughter was diagnosed Type 1 seven months ago. Since that time her insulin dosages have steadily decreased to where she is currently only taking 6 units of NPH a day. Could this mean she is not truly a Type 1 or could she be a Type 1B?

I have had type 1 diabetes for 16 years. I am 24 now. The other morning, I “woke up” in my living room. I had a broken blood vessel in my eye, had bitten through my tongue, a couple of bruises and was very disoriented.
