The pediatrician said my daughter does not have diabetes because of no glucose in her urine. A fasting blood test indicated she was 131 mg/dl [7.3 mmol/L], which concerns me because I have type 1, but not the doctor. Does this sound right?

My boyfriend tries to keep his blood sugars between 60 and 65 mg/dl [3.3 or 3.6 mmol/L] and drives at this level. What should his blood sugar be for safe driving? If he refuses to check and still drives this low, what should we do?
