How does the drug Toradol affect the kidneys more in diabetics than nondiabetics? For me, it is a wonder drug for my frequent kidney stones, but my doctor won’t prescribe it in a effort to protect my kidneys.

My recent blood work indicated a random blood sugar of 198 mg/dl [11.0 mmol/L]. Although my fasting blood sugar was normal, I got a meter to check at home and have seen that my blood sugar goes up after eating. I have no symptoms or risk factors for diabetes. Is it okay to wait 11 months for further formal testing?

My aunt who has Hepatitis C sometimes stays with my mom. Though I am careful when checking my blood sugar at mom’s, do I need to be concerned about contracting Hepatitis C by touching things my aunt may have touched?
