About a year ago, my 17 year old daughter was diagnosed with type1 diabetes prior to which, she began having unusual behavior problems first, and a couple of months later, she exhibited the classic symptoms. I believe her behavior and crazy eating patterns were a result of pre-diabetes, but her doctors cannot say for sure. I feel guilty that I was not able to help her and that her problem was medical. I am just looking for answers.

I also showed no signs of insulinoma. I’m at a loss. What should I ask my doctors to consider looking at?
