I’m on low dose steroids for an ACTH deficiency and they have a clear impact on my blood sugar control. If I don’t take the steroids, I need much less insulin. Is is possible that even a low dose of steroids can lead to increased insulin needs? Am I at risk for a recurrence of the autoimmune hypophysitis I had last year?
