I can tell by home monitoring that the gestational diabetes is getting to be impossible to control with diet alone. Is the glucose tolerance test quantitative, or merely a yes/no indicator of the presence of gestational diabetes? How is insulin dosage to be determined? Can it be determined without another (torturous) GTT?
