His blood glucose level before bed was fine. I check his sugar at 3:00 am about every other day, and it is usually high. Our endocrinologist is unsure as to why this is happening.

Two hours after the snack, my sugar was 92 mg/dl [5.1 mmol/L]. I do not have diabetes. Should I be concerned?

Our son was recently diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. Prior to developing it, he started having migraines. He has an abnormal EEG, always associated with high sugar. Recently, he has begun complaining of chest pains. He was born with pulmonary stenosis and had his pulmonary valve ballooned at birth. His cardiologist is at a loss to explain the cause of my son’s pain. Can you offer any suggestions as to the possible cause?
