My mother has had diabetes for 32 years. She has maintained her sugar level fairly stable up until the last eight months. Since then, she has been experiencing extreme instability in her sugar levels notwithstanding a regular diet and insulin injections. What are the possible alternatives?

I have several boxes of pen-fills that I accidently put in the freezer. I found them six hours later, and I can’t tell if they froze. Bubbles still moved, the solution was clear, and appeared no different than the others. Are they still usable?
