I am 29 and I have had type 1 diabetes for 17 years. I struggled with my HMO to get an insulin pump because I was going into several comas. I became pregnant, but went into another coma at four weeks. At eight weeks, an ultrasound determined that my baby’s heart was not beating. Did that coma cause me to lose my baby?

I am 33 years old, 18 weeks pregnant. I have also had part of my intestines bypassed, therefore I don’t absorb all of what I eat. I have been having frequent low blood sugar reactions, as low as 35 mg/dl (1.9 mmol/L). What are or where can I find info on the effects of low blood sugar reactions to my fetus?
