I suspect my daughter, age 6, may have diabetes. We have a family history and she has frequent and uncontrollable urination (her pants and underwear are wet almost daily). She’s always asking for water (thirsty).

My 14 year old has always had blood sugars that have been difficult to control. She can also be verbally and physically aggressive and has taken an antidepressant medication, which didn’t seem to help. Could her behavior problems be caused by other factors such as a chemical imbalance or just her temperament?

My daughter is 9 and was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes 3 years ago. We cannot get her to do her on blood tests or shots. Although it is easier to just do it for her, I’d like her to develop some independence. Any ideas?

I have a 5 year old with Type 1 diabetes who also has allergies. The allergist gave us a nasal spray, Flonase. This is the second steroid nasal spray he has had and it really elevates his blood sugars. Is there any other treatment out there that he can use instead?
