I was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes seven years ago. I am 56 years old. I was wondering if there has been any documentation about stress related high blood sugars causing emotional problems.

I have a 4 year old that has been experiencing problems with low blood sugar at the onset of an illness. He gets the ketone breath and pale and lethargic. Any suggestions?

Is there any research on sudden behavior changes in early childhood related to diabetes? My son has sudden mood changes that can last 20 minutes to an hour. Afterward he is glassy-eyed and lifeless for at least 15 minutes.
