My daughter is four years old. She began having seizures when she was two. At that time and several times since then, we have asked her pediatrician and her neurologist if the seizures could be related to diabetes. Is it possible that she could have a blood sugar problem that is causing the seizures?

Is there any research on sudden behavior changes in early childhood related to diabetes? My son has sudden mood changes that can last 20 minutes to an hour. Afterward he is glassy-eyed and lifeless for at least 15 minutes.

My husband has had Type 1 diabetes since the age of 25. At the time he was in the Navy. They gave him a smallpox vaccination. He had a severe reaction to the vaccine and a few months later was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes. Are they related?

My 10 1/2 year old daughter was diagnosed last year. Her blood sugars are so wild, anywhere from 45 to 300 in any given day. They have her on a constant carb diet. We count carbs at each meal and snack.
