Are there homeopathic and herbal remedies that can dramatically help, and possibly reverse Type 1 diabetes?

My daughter has had diabetes now some 3 years. We expressed interest to our doctor regarding the “counting carbohydrates” system. The doctor told us that he has very little experience in this area.
