I was the first in my family to be diagnosed with diabetes at the age of nine. Despite the challenges, I have not let diabetes define me. I have channeled my experiences into a drive to help others. I work at a hospital, where I have the privilege of learning about the medical field and helping patients. I also volunteer with organizations like the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, where I have had the opportunity to give back to the community and support others living with diabetes. I believe that with my determination and hard work, I can make a positive impact in the diabetes community.
