My friend’s baby is 6 months old, was diagnosed with diabetes 2 months ago, is very unsettled, and does not sleep at night. We also suspect cystic fibrosis because he has had smelly stools since birth and eats all the time and is sweaty.

My daughter is 9 and is currently taking 7 units of Regular and 15 units of NPH per day. I am wondering if your body builds up a tolerance toward any of these two insulins, or any type of insulin.

I’m pregnant with my second baby. With my first I had borderline gestational diabetes. I controlled it with diet. The doctor went ahead and told me to do the diet again before I even took the glucose test. Why is that?
